Many Eagle Scouts have come from Troop 16, which is a testament to our program and our scouts.
We are very proud of the troop and the program we offer. We are a troop that is guided by the belief that scouting should be “Fun with a Purpose”. As a troop, we provide a safe structured environment that our scouts want to return to week after week. At each meeting our scouts are exposed to activities and learning opportunities that they will use through out their life. We feel they enjoy their time with Troop 16 and have been given the opportunity to learn and experience new and interesting things.
If you are interested in joining Troop 16, simply check our monthly planning calendar and come to a scheduled meeting. Introduce yourself to one of our Scout Leaders. We will be glad to talk to you and your parents about scouting and our program here in Ledyard.
