Proficient with development tools (such as Visual Basic, Delphi and others) that ensures efficient direct mail data processing.
Developed and maintained a complex EZ-Letter data merge system for a nation wide automotive service reminder program involving over 50 different letter texts, 750+ coupon setups and 4000+ dealership logos. Resulted in moving the clients program from an unprofitable position to a significant profit level.

Developed exit routines (plug-ins) in IBM 370 assembler for the EZ-Letter macro language for custom reporting and random number generation, saving the data center print job setup time.
Solved a problem of postal barcodes being too long to fit in short envelope windows and not passing postal specifications by editing a line mode font file and creating a barcode font that fit the Postal minimum with requirements exactly, reducing rejection rate of bar-coded mail by the Post Office.
Developed and maintained a Microsoft Word data merge to follow up on auto e-mail service reminder program customers whose e-mail address came back as invalid.
Developed and maintained a CGI Perl script to aid management in tracking and distilling employee monthly highlights. Saved management administrative time when compiling monthly achievement reports.
Developed and maintained a Delphi application to read raw Scitex font files and display the characters in a GUI application, thus saving the font developers from having to use an old DOS application.
Successfully resolved advanced level technical software problems for Scitex clients.
Worked at the Computer Department's help desk while a student at Albright College.
Volunteered to teach grade school students basic computer skills.
