Equine Services

Equine Preventative Medicine

A large proportion of our equine practice is devoted to preventative medicine.  On at least an annual basis we try to do a physical examination and administer appropriate vaccinations to all of our equine patients.  During this visit, we review the internal parasite control program; if the client has  chosen to utilize Strongid C2X® we will complete the paperwork to enroll the horse in Pfizer's Preventicare® program.

Other aspects of routine preventative health care often include:

  • Insurance Examinations
  • Coggins Testing and Health Certificates
  • Nutritional Counseling
