The Small Animal Clinic

Our  small animal clinic is fully equipped and our clinicians are available 24 hours, every day for emergencies.

Preventative Medicine  

Prevention of disease is always a high priority in any health care system. 

• Puppy and kitten vaccinations and parasite control programs uniquely designed for your pet.
• Annual physical examinations, nutritional counseling at no additional charge with vaccination appointments.
• Flea, tick, deworming and heartworm control programs best suited for your household, lifestyle and pet's health.
• Special monitoring of high risk geriatric patients.

Dentistry 

Small animal dentistry has evolved quickly to include virtually every aspect of human dentistry: from routine tartar scaling and polishing to endodontic, periodontal and orthodontic procedures.  This area of our pet's health has been largely ignored in the past, but with newer anesthetics, dentistry can be safely performed even in geriatric pets.  

All members of our staff have obtained advanced training in modern dental techniques, and we have purchased a state of the art dental x-ray and high and low speed dental drills.

Surgery

Modern anesthetics allow us to perform routine surgeries on an outpatient basis.  Your pet can go home the day of surgery where it will rest more quietly and resume eating more quickly.

There are a variety of new methods for controlling post operative pain in animals.  Please ask us about pain control when your pet is scheduled for surgery.
