Equine Dentistry

We are committed to state of the art equine dentistry.  Almost all dentistry is performed with sedation; this provides greater access to the horse's mouth in a manner that is atraumatic for the horse and safe for the clinician and assistant.  This potent sedation can be reversed so that the horse is back to normal within 20 minutes.

We recently acquired a motorized rotary float called the Swissfloat® which is so well-tolerated by the horse that in most cases it requires less sedation and a great deal less time to perform routine floats, as well as aiding in molar and incisor reduction.
