Small Animal Dentistry at the Salem Valley Veterinary Clinic

Over the past 3 years Dr. Robert Baratt has obtained training in dental radiography and advanced techniques in small animal dentistry and oral surgery.  The clinic has purchased a state of the art dental x-ray machine and a high speed air drill necessary for proper extraction of diseased teeth.  Dr. Baratt is pursuing a course of study that will lead to Fellowship in the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry.

Dr. Baratt has completed  13 hours of endodontic training at the Animal Dental Training Center.  With this training we can now provide root canal therapy and vital pulpectomy of recently traumatized teeth. More recently, he has received 13 hours of training in the orthodontic correction of malocclusions in the dog, and in the application of crowns on damaged teeth.

We know that you will appreciate a healthier mouth in your dog or cat -- your pet will have a pain-free mouth and it's breath will not drive you from the room!
