NOTE:   7/17/2007.  Our supply of steel (Aircraft Quality 4130) for making plates is very low.   We have more steel on order but....it cost us about 30% more than our last purchase.   We may have to increase prices a few dollars per plate to cover the increased materials cost.

OUR FAMOUS ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL ENGRAVING!



This is our replica Rock Island Arsenal markings on our semi-auto plate.   We created and used this plate in a receiver build using a customer supplied parts kit.   The serial number and crossed cannons cartouche was hand stamped by us.   For the inspector's initials, we hand stamped the customer's own initials.   After parkerizing we filled the engravings using Brownell's white lacquer stick.   The Rock Island engraving itself was meticulously copied from an original C&R Rock Island Arsenal 1919A at the Springfield Armory Museum in Massachussetts.   Horizontal and vertical alignment of and spacing between letters, numbers, and lines is 99.9% accurate.   So is font type, font size, and punctuation marks. You won't find a more accurate engraving job anywhere!     Add this engraving to your 100% side plate for only $45.
