Below, left to right. (Left) Unmodified Philadelphia Ordnance feed ramp. The feed ramp is made with three cuts; one center, one left, and one right. As the picture shows, the center cut is slightly higher than the left and right cuts; leaving more material to be removed in the center of the feed ramp. (Right) The same feed ramp after modification by T&S Manufacturing.

Below, left to right: (Left) Broaching the extractor slot. (Right) Close up of broaching operation. Bushing fits into receiver nose barrel hole. Broach is then inserted into bushing slot. Thin metal strip behind broach is a shim. Shims are used to gradually increase the depth of the extractor slot which the broach cuts into the receiver

Milling receiver bolt hole countersink. The countersink extension fits through guide rod hole at rear of receiver (uppermost of photo). The countersink bit has been inserted into the extension tool and is held in place by a set screw.
