Original Cover................New Cover

Using the cover from my other Royal 300,  I traced its outline onto a piece of clear plastic taken  from one side of a slotted photo holder. The new cover was cut out using a Dremel tool. I glued some tabs on the back, reversed painted it flat black, and glued a scanned copy of the original Zenith tag to the inside of the cover. The new cover almost looks like the original, with just the right amount of shine to it,  the black paint visible through the clear plastic. The glue joints, being transparent, allow the paint  to show through them.
